In the Subscribe2->Settings page under the Email Settings tab make sure you have set the number of recipients per email to 1 (This is the default).

Mine s set on 0. Is this the reason why email notifications are not going? I dont remember changing it ever… I though 0 will send the email notification o unlimited users but 1 will send to only 1 user… apparently I’m wrong.

Oh is that so… why does it feel that earlier it used to send a big image with a url for post at the bottom on facebook?

and then why is there an option to select “send a link to my blogpost” there? What does this option do?

I did not speak with my hosting provider. Just didn’t look like a hosting issue. I am a hosting reseller and I hasted this personal project on my server.

To make it work, I deactivated all plugins and then activated only this plugin, still; didnt work.

Oh I just noticed when I upload these gifs to gallery and then use their link it doesnt work. Now to show you the files I uploaded on the above mentioned links. Now when I use these links instead, it works fine…

look at the bottom of the sidebar… it worked

I tried Advanced Custom Fields plugin. Didn’t do anything for me. I saw the training video on their site. Not my cup of tea.

Then I installed “Types – Complete Solution for Custom Fields and Types”

It actually created a custom field in my game reviews-“venue” where I can add the venue…

The only hitch is it doesn’t show in my review anywhere… neither on home page (Where ideally I’d like it) nor in the actual review page that comes after clicking the post title.

So now it seems all fine in backend there is nothing on site – on frontend

No, I’m not comfortable with PHP, so no point of hand-coding

NO its not very important, because this site is just a personal blog i write with a friend of mine. Not a clients project. So yes I can write it in the review itself. Since game-press is made for game reviews I can understand it doesn’t have venue field but for a site like mine where we review events in and around city venue matters to an extent. In fact we have a page called fun-do venues (and we have a venue of the month as well)

Looks like this antivirus plugin for wordpress is just a dummy. On my website https://www.delhi-fun-dos.com same thing is happening with me.

I rcvd an email saying virus suspected. no details whatsoever.

when i run a manual scan two red box. But what to do about it? how do i remove the virus from these…?

Clicking on “There is no virus” will remove the box but I’m sure it doesnt solve the error. it just tells wordpress that this is not a virus.

Any other antivirus solution for wordpress blogs?

Yes I understand that Reviews have their own category taxonomy. But I want to have a categories widget on sidebar with all categories (from the reviews and post – if not posts atleast of all reviews)

Similar issue is with default wordpress archives widget. It doesnt show the reviews I have written. The last it shows is october since I started using review system recently it doesnt show the custom posts.

I tried some plugins for custom post archives but nothing worked.

Yes I disabled it and got my original page title back. Though I want to know if i am at a loss now because I have deactivated Rush SEO and got my page title back to default or was it better earlier as far as Search engines are concerned…

Editing files like functions.php can be too risky for a non coder like me. I trioed finding plugins but got confused… no idea which plugin can resolve my issue.
