tried deactivating plugs and facebook feed was still activated, randomly. we weren’t using it, and BOOM, back in bizness. it’s weird, I turned off the plugs before and it was still occurring, tried it early this morning, and it snapped back. strange, Friday the 13 *cue music* :P. I graciously bow this topic closed.

It was at its default of 150px X 150px for thumbnail, so I bumped it up to 300×300 just to see what would happen, and it still same issue. just seems very odd that no matter what picture I upload into the media library huge/med/sm or whatever it continues, even pictures that are already on there and displaying beautifully. thanks for taking the time esmi.

top left img. it says the img is only 238px when in chrome inspector, but the image is 700px wide.

its not just this img. if i upload any image, even ones that display properly and are already on the site, the uploader doesnt allow any other size options than fullsize to be clicked.

even if i upload an existing img that is already on the site, and has exaggerated dimensions it continues to occur. i dont use the thumbnail option in my media library, i just use a separate img as the featured pic (one that is resized in photoshop). its very odd, that it just began all of a sudden.

im having kind of a similar issue, although when i upload any size pictures in the media uploader, it doesnt allow me to resize them at all… unfortunately, that inhibits the featured imgs from fitting properly in the spaces provided in my theme.

ive tried exaggerating the img sizes to see if they eventually fit in the spaces for them, but even at 4000px X 3400px – the media uploader or something inside the code resizes the imgs improperly to fit in the 300px wide thumbnail box. it puts them all at 238px wide…the height is fine..

Is there something wrong with the uploader all of a sudden? Ive searched for all sorts of topics and nothing came up as my same issue. please, if anyone has any ideas i’l gift them an app from itunes or something if we can get this resolved. its not my picture files, or user error…help…

*correction, we published all of the pics in one sitting 4 weeks ago, and this issue has only been occurring since Monday.
