it started from day one, i use this plugin on many website, however one of the website which contents thousand of posts got this problem (that’s why i feel it is a statistically problem), since other website don’t duplicate post that often.

the site that has problem is a property agency, homeplus.hk/en/ which they duplicated at least 10-20 posts a week, and report randomly not all duplicated post follow the default language of the post that is copied from, i have made sure they only dupulicate the post under the default language.

WPML is at the latest (always), while we haven’t tested on the latest Yoast duplicated post features which offer new draft.

i don’t think there is a conflict because it works 90% of the time with the same plugins are on. i will try to contact WPML support if there is nothing on your side can do

Excellent! changing hosts file resolved the issue, thanks! however it still puzzle me why on my other network there is no need to make such change, i guess if port 80 is opened, without changing hosts file will use internet dns to link to the local server, it should still work. But in this network act strangely that is unable to translate url of the same network but the internet can do it. Well, i guess whatever works is good enough.

I had hierarchical: true on, but it didn’t do the job so I have fixed it by creating a taxonomy-oversea_property_locations.php. thanks

you can’t, both free and pro version unable to provide this features, so i eventually switch to ajax search lite/ pro

there should be a custom post type called cf47rs_property

you can see from other screenshot from Ajax search (and rest of the others), they can also pick up cf47rs_partner, cf47rs_property… without any coding modification

EDIT: i found out exclude from search still exist in child theme, after i remove that now it appears! thanks, however it doesn’t explain why other plugins still able to pick that up, also those do not have exclude from search still missing, but at least it works for me now.

hmmmm, i do see exclude_from_search exist in the register_post_type function, however even i remove that, ivory search still unable to pick up the custom post type, is there anything do with cache? also i wonder why all other searching plugin still able to pick that post type up?

Edit: also some of the post type doesn’t get detected also do not have exclude_from_search tag

Thanks, however other search plugin can pick up those custom post types, how can i make sure it is searchable by your plugin?
