The problem is that the cached version of the page the logged-in user is looking at should have certain parts of the page different (for example, show user name of the logged in user in the sidebar).

If I uncheck the option “Don’t cache pages for logged in users”, the user will only see the “logged-in” version of those pages that they haven’t visited yet (they’re not cached yet). The already cached pages will still be shown to the user rather than showing the “logged-in” version of the pages (since the user is now logged, there is no point in showing them the cached “non-logged-in” version).

If I check the option “Don’t cache pages for logged in users”, it behaves the same way.

I have the option “Cache SSL (https) requests” checked because my website is running on HTTPS. If I uncheck this option, it works as expected (it does not cache anything).

The following is what I’m looking for: once the user logs in, all cached pages that the user has visited before logging in should be deleted. In other words, the cache needs to be cleaned after login to make this work, correct? Or is there a bug in the plugin?

John, this doesn’t work for example:
    Source: (.{0,})\/(.{0,})
    Target: $1\/whatever\/$2

Any ideas how to make it work?

But how can I do that using regex please? The whatever part could be an arbitrary string.

Why? It’d be nice to have that OPTION back in the settings.

Thank you. It’d be great if this option was available on the WordPress settings page without the need of installing a plugin just for that.

You’re talking about setting comments for individual Pages, but I need to ensure that every time I create a new Page, the box Allow comments. is checked by default.

mindctrl: No, that’s the worst part. I have no idea what’s causing it. When I visit the website it does nothing. I can email you the website URL so you can look at if that’s okay with you.
