In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Nutrition Problem (Not Showing)I see what you’re saying but can’t replicate the issue from our end. Also haven’t received any other reports on this.
I’ve seen this once before and think it has something to do with your list of ingredients. Please check that you have a space between every ingredient measurement and the ingredient itself. Then try again. i.e. – if you use Imperial measurement make sure that it’s entered like “10 g of sugar” and not “10g of sugar”
If this doesn’t correct the issue please contact us through support(at)mealplannerpro.com to discuss this further?
Thanks

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Nutrition Problem (Not Showing)Hi Tom,
We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble with nutrition calculations. We’ve tested thoroughly from our end and it works fine. We sent out a newsletter explaining more instructions on how to use the nutrition feature. If you didn’t receive this I’ve include below. I think it’s just a matter of understanding the steps to edit ingredient matches then saving the edits to calculate nutrition. If you’re still having difficulty please contact us through support(at)mealplannerpro(dot)com.
We fine tuned the nutrition display options and released a new recipe plugin version. The options are:
Don’t calculate or display nutrition (doesn’t generate nutrition schema)
Display nutrition (choose which design style to display)
Collapse nutrition (readers can choose to expand to view if they wish)* Display nutrition and Collapse nutrition options both generate nutrition schema for Google
To edit and calculate nutrition click the “Nutrition Analyzer” button in recipe placeholder. See instructions below.
Enter recipe info as normal > save recipe > save post > then open placeholder once more to edit recipe. You’ll then see the nutrition analyzer button. (beside the Tag Manager button)
Click analyzer button to edit ingredient matches > be sure to enter servings > save edits > then save post once more.. Esha Research then calculates nutrition per serving.
You can also test how the analyzer works by using our nutrition calculator. It functions pretty much the same way within the plugin.
Note: when you go to edit recipe you’ll also see our “Tag Manager” button. It’s important to take the time to edit nutrition and add tags/keywords. You only need to do this once then forget about it.
Tag Manage Button
You can add tags for course, cuisine, occasion etc. Also tags for “Suitable For Diet”such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.
We analyze your list of ingredients to auto generate tags for 19 diets and food allergies. You can then add your own unique tags and/or remove any auto generated ones if you wish.
Then our plugin generates the proper schema for Google and Pinterest.
Your recipes meet far more diet preference than you even know!
Here’s a great article on tags I found recently:

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Meal Planner Pro for WordPress 5.2.2Are you using the Gutenberg or Classic editor? If Gutenberg you need to create a new block where you want the recipe card to display in the post > then in block options scroll to formatting > then select Classic. This will then display our plugin icon for you to create the recipe card as normal.
Please let me know if this works.
Thanks

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Meal Planner Pro for WordPress 5.2.2Absolutely. Are you saying that you updated WP to v. 5.2.2 and now the plugin isn’t working?
Or that the plugin works but just shows as not compatible with v 5.2.2?
Thanks

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Star ratings not workingI see in your comments section says: “This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed”. I suspect that Askimet is blocking our ratings feature.
All recipe plugins are only compatible with WordPress comments. This is so Google can trust that people leaving comments/ratings are real people etc.
Your theme developer should be able to assist you in installing the compatible comments.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Star ratings not workingHello,
In order for ratings to work you need to use the WordPress ratings and comments feature. It appears like you use a comments plugin which is not compatible. All recipe plugins require that WP comments is used for their ratings feature to work as well.
We’ve commented on this issue a few times in the past if you wish to see more details. The gist is all recipe plugins require you use WP comments/ratings and not a plugin for this.
Thanks

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Why recipe card is coming in capital lettersThat’s great…thanks for letting us know. ??
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Why recipe card is coming in capital lettersThe all-caps thing is simply because the recipe card code got wrapped in a headline font style–like when you highlight text and set it to H4 in your post. That particular headline style uses all caps, so it affected everything in the recipe that way. If you change it back to normal paragraph style, it will solve the problem.
Thanks
