Do I need to request the customer send me their IP address or can I look that up with their username?

The message is controlled by a checkbox asking if you want to show the message. It was added after the EU required tracking/cookie notifications. You can uncheck the box and the message will disappear. I do not remember where the checkbox is located in the WordPress controls. It was in a section with WordPress security controls but I am not sure where.

I am using the free Paid Membership Pro wordpress plug in.

Deactivating the full Jetpack sounds dangerous. Is there a way to just turn off the Jetpack Blog Subscription only?

If I do Deactivate the full JetPack are you sure I won’t loos setting on other features in Jet pack?

OK, that sounds like a good solution. Can you point me to instructions for correctly turning off the subscription module. I do not want to screw it up and loose my subscribers.

Ok. If people only need to know the URL of a file on a WordPress site to access it then what good is the WordPress login? What you describe seems to make the whole idea of registering for a user name and password completely meaningless.

Users can not see certain material unless they sign up and get a user name and password. Where is that material stored?

I used the code you posted and believe I got This working. I had to make a few minor changes to the theme I am using but the code now switches between two menus based on a person being logged in or out. Very cool.

Isn’t there already code in the header.php that I need to replace? I don’t think I can just place the new code whereever I want. I need to replace the existing code that controls the menu. I am not sure what code in this theme I need to replace. Can you point out what lines of code in the header.php I should remove?
