    Hello @bsfherman ,

Thank-you for the reply. Went through everything that’s mentioned in the article and the video. Nothing helped.

Had my provider scrap my site so I can start from scratch using the pages, posts, media, etc… I had exported and it resolved the problem. Thereby confirming that something was corrupted from previous themes and plugins that were installed, uninstalled and deleted.

Not the ideal solution but, that was the only thing left to do…

    Thanks for the assist.

    Cheers,

    Marc

    Hello Jay,

It’s actually a bit more complicated than that.

Bottom line, besides old UPCP data still being there after the deactivation and deletion of the plugin back in 2015, my DB and tables are corrupted from plugins I installed in the last 12 days or so (ex: Woocommerce, ecommerce product catalog, etc…) that did not uninstall properly.

Now going back to a 2 week old backup so I can try UPC right from the get go to see what happens.

    Ah, OK. Thank-you

Had the same issue. Installed WPForms’ WP Mail SMTP and it solved the issue. FYI, I’m using WP 5.2.1.

Hope it works for all of you too

I agree pferdetermine but since for the life of me I can’t find one and just like you I like Customizr, I didn’t see any better way.

I found other themes that work well with the sticky header but, even though my site is small, the amount of work required to implement these is way to much. Not to mention the incompatibilities with the plugins I use… Don’t need the headaches if you know what I mean ?? ??

    Thank-you for the suggestions Emranemranx.

I do use the latest software versions on everything and Customizr’s child theme.

As far as the plugins go, I deactivated all of them and tested the site without. Problem was still there so, reactivated one by ones and tested again each time. They are not the problem.

Clearing my browser’s cache/history is SOP with me. That’s not the problem. RE: Javascript, I took out everything. Didn’t do anything and I didn’t see any code that could break my site.

RE: different browsers, I have to make sure my site works with all of the most popular browsers so…

Like I said, in my previous post on this, only solution I found so far is to disable the sticky header. Not the perfect solution but, at the end of the day, I can live with it.

    Cheers,

    Marc

    Thanks for the reply.

Problem solved. Left over junk code from plugins that weren’t deleted properly when uninstalled using the WP backend.

Any plan on having the ability to use sliders with Nimble builder?

    Thread Starter mdugre

    (@mdugre)

    Hello Nicolas,

Yes I tried the main theme. Problem persists.

In the Nimble site wide options, I just reverted to the active theme header and footer and it’s back to the way it was with slider showing.

If you go to datatelcom.com/home, you’ll see it now has the slider. I use the same one on all pages right now.

As soon as I chose the Nimble site wide header and footer, which is still a beta I gather (says it right in the text), it’s gone.

    Cheers,

    Marc

OK now I am confused. After 3 tries (opening and closing browser) in Chrome, changes are now showing up!?!?!?!

Tried all of that Nicolas and I still can’t get my slider to show. In the mean time, here’s my system info.

Well it’s confirmed. Any fields with a type other than INPUT are problematic. As per the initial post, doing any translations of those field’s content causes the translation string table to revert back to it’s default state, English in my case.

Here’s the reply I received from the Cozmoslabs’ (authors of Profile Builder) support people

“The plugin is indeed working for inputs only.

I’ve added a ticket in our issue tracker and hopefully we’ll implement this in the future, but for now, there really isn’t much we can do.”

Hopefully, they’ll figure it out and solve the problem. Profile Builder’s a great plug-in and compatibility with Polylang can only make it better and more attractive to users ??
