I have still to resolve this issue, which i cant. I am willing to pay for someone to do it for me? thats if its not against the rules on this forum

Thanks for the replies, when i go into Appearance -> Themes , it only gives me the option of widgets/menu or activate, delete other themes installed.

are there any other ways of getting rid of the white box? i tried emailing support, from the website i purchased the theme from, but they were very vague and not accurate.

no luck, is there any other way?

Thanks for the useful reply, firebug is an amazing tool, but i cant seen to get rid of the background and replace it with a pure colour. i have got rid of the white box, but how do i inset a small gap between the footer and box above?

Also id there any place where i can learn css?
