Hey @michaelcartersa
I apologize for the delay keeping this thread updated. You are correct. This issue was addressed in the release of version 2.1.3 of the plugin. I would recommend upgrading the plugin to see if that behavior persists on the site.
If you see any unusual behavior crop up moving forward from here, don’t hesitate to post to the Github Issues page or contact MailChimp Support.
Thanks,
MalachiteHey everyone,
I wanted to follow up on this issue. Our developers have released an update to the plugin to address this issue. I would recommend upgrading to the newest version of the plugin, version 2.1.3.
If you see any new or similar issues crop up, please let our team know by creating anew post directly to the Github Issues page here: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues or by contacting the MailChimp Support Team here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you all for your patience and diligence in raising awareness for this issue.
Thank you,
MalachiteHey @kristoferlse
Our team is working towards a resolution to this issue. You can follow updates to the issue on the integration’s Github page here: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues/176
I am sorry to hear how this is affecting the data in your account. My own account-specific troubleshooting methods on the forums here will be limited, though I would recommend reaching out to MailChimp’s Support Team to see if they can give some more hands-on assistance in resolving some of the damage done: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options
Thanks,
MalachiteHey @aand @paulreali and @sandeld
I’m afraid I don’t have any updates to provide at this time. Our developers are continuing to investigate the situation. I can pass along new cases to our team internally with a copy of the WooCommerce System Status Report.
Although the forums are no longer being monitored for new support inquiries, you can look for updates to this particular issue or post new issues directly to the plugin Github page here: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues
I can imagine that this is far from ideal, though unfortunately I can’t speak to any timeline on when to expect a fix to be pushed for this issue.
If you have questions moving forward in the meantime, I would recommend reaching out to MailChimp Support or the plugin’s Github page.
Thanks,

Thanks for this feedback. I’ll pass it along internally to our development team. In the meantime, you can keep an eye on the plugin’s Github page for progress updates on this particular request here: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues/116
Feel free to post directly to that page if you have any questions or concerns, or let us know here.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Don’t SYNC my products and mu ordersHey @natcirne
Thanks for your feedback. I wanted to chime in to see if I could provide any assistance in troubleshooting why the plugin isn’t syncing properly here and pass any useful feedback to our team.
Could you provide the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
Additionally, could you share any error logging that’s present when trying to sync the plugin under the WooCommerce “Logs” tab?
Finally, could you share a screenshot of the Sync tab? Thanks in advance. I’ll keep an eye out for your response.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Address Information SyncHey @barkins
Thanks for your post. The mailing address does not sync to MailChimp when a new order is created. Unfortunately there is not a way to enable this as the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin only has the ability to sync – in addition to e-commerce purchase data – the following fields
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
That said, this is great feedback for mapping custom fields that I’ll pass to our team. If you have any further question, please let us know.

Thanks for that information @sandeld. I’ve passed this case along to our developers as they continue investigating the situation.
I’m afraid I can’t speak to a firm ETA on this issue. That said, if you want to check in for updates, you’re more than welcome. Additionally, you can monitor ongoing issues on the plugin’s Github page here.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Fatal Error upon Activation AttemptHey @trollingking
I can certainly help investigate this with you. Before looking at options for directly editing with the API, it’s important to be sure everything checks out with the local environment.
To help get started on checking this, could you share the test environment’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
Additionally, could you provide the specific steps you’re taking leading up to this error?
Thanks in advance. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hey there @sandeld
Thanks for your post. This is behavior that we are certainly tracking internally as we have noticed it start to crop up again. It hasn’t quite made its way to a public Github issue yet from our internal tracking, though you are more than welcome to post on the Github to get things logged there if you like.
I appreciate the comprehensive information here. The only thing we’d need from here is a copy of the WooCommerce System Status Report. If you could copy and paste this here I’d be glad to log it here on our end of things as our developers continue investigating this.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I imagine this issue is far from ideal especially during the holiday rush. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for your reply.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Items still in cart after checkoutHey @sebastian12345
I’m afraid we do not have a direct line here on the plugin forums. That said, you can certainly reach out to MailChimp’s Tech Support team through your MailChimp account. Their team has access to the same troubleshooting tools and can help dig into things specific to your account via chat or email.
Here’s a link where you can reach out to them: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options
If you have any questions, let me know.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Automation emails are not being sent throughHey there @jasonpage2015
Thanks for your post. I’m afraid that we here in the Plugin Support Forums don’t have the tooling or resources to provide support on MailChimp app functions like automations being triggered and sent. Your best bet for getting this investigated will be to reach out to MailChimp’s Tech Support Team. They offer email and chat support. More information can be found here in their Knowledge Base:
https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options
If you have any questions about the setup or functionality of the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin, please let us know.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] 500 error when adding APIThanks @lancebarton70! Looks like it is published now. Thanks for the update!
I was able to look over things and the only thing that sticks out here is that the MySQL running on the server does not meet the minimum required version for MySQL on WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce. You’ll want to update that to at least 5.6 or greater for expected functionality here.
If you could get that up to date and try installing the plugin again, I’d be glad to help investigate further if any more issues crop up!
For reference, here is a link to WooCommerce’s System Requirements. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Malachite
