Thank you for your responce. I did as you suggested but that didn’t work either. I don’t understand why it all of a sudden won’t come up. I’ve never had any problems before and have used this for quite a while now.
I hope you have other ideas, I can’t get in to my admin.

Update- reloaded wp-index from back-up now site is back but log-in still will not load.

I’ve made no changes. Yes the file is there. I restored the index, log-in still dosen’t work. And now my site won’t load!

ok, I updated to 2.06, read through the update process and
in one of the documentations,sorry I don’t know how to get back to it, I read you need to update the root .htacess everytime you make a static page and the permalinks. So I made a test page,set a password, then went back updated the permalink and recopied the .htaccess to the root and now it works, For the page,I haven’t tried the private post yet.
I don’t know why. I hope this makes some sense to someone.
But for now it is working again.

I did not intend to offend anyone or to suggest there was not any support. I just have a serious problem with my site that I can’t seam to resolve on my own.

Now I’m having the same problem! Only none of the suggestions work for me. I even tried resetting the password on the page and still it only refreshes! Errrr. Help! I had to unlock all my password protected pages for now till I get this fixed and remove the content.

Well it took me a while but I changed themes and now its working. Go figure,eh?

I’m now having the same problem after getting the comment box to finally appear. I’ve tried the suggestions and fixes above with no luck, any other ideas?
