Didn’t work… I deactivated all plugins and still had the error message. I switched themes — I was using Canvas — to twenty fourteen and I still had the message.

It didn’t show up until I implemented the csv export patch.

Where would that snippet go? And how would it work on the homepage only?

Yes, I have… the back end tells me the key is valid and “Akismet is working correctly. All servers are accessible.”

Just my point… the code I use in the backend includes href etc etc but for some reason the code is stripped out when it gets to the browser. Is it a permissions thing? I’ve set 777 for every folder involved except public.html.

The plot thickens: I’ve installed 1pixelout’s audio player, and the code is getting dropped for that as well.
