In reply to: [Total] New Total Theme update causing problemsThanks for getting back to me. I just installed the new update and all is good now.
Cheers!
Well, problem solved.
I submitted a request to Google Web Tools to review the site again after telling them that I had removed the intrusive Propeller Ads plugin.
They approved it and the site is now showing ads again.
Thanks again for the tip!
I wonder if it had to do with the “Propeller Ads” plugin that I had temporarily installed that was causing forced pop-ups and redirects. I removed the plugin, purged all the caches, and reloaded the page again; however, I see that there is still the same error in the Chrome Console.
Any other ideas on how I could fix this?
The new update to version 6.4.8 fixed the problem.
The dashboard is running much faster now.
Thank you!
I know. The dashboard is still very slow whenever the plugin is enabled.
My query from the Query Monitor plugin shows similar results:
SELECT COLUMN_NAME
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS
WHERE table_name = ‘wp_mlw_quizzes’
AND column_name = ‘quiz_author_id’
do_action(‘admin_init’)
Core 1 5.1296SELECT COLUMN_NAME
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS
WHERE table_name = ‘wp_mlw_results’
AND column_name = ‘unique_id’
do_action(‘admin_init’)

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Categories and Posts NOT AppearingNevermind. I solved the problem by adding a redirect to a new category page.

Thanks. I disabled all the plugins and discovered that it was the “Contact Form 7 Extension For MailChimp” plugin that was causing the problem.
Now I can turn off the MailChimp extension plugin, then access the redirection settings. It is no longer a greyed out area.
It must have been an issue with the latest MailChimp update. Hopefully, MailChimp can sort out the problem, so I don’t have to keep switching the plugin on and off to access the other tagged sections. However, this is a good fix for the time being.
Cheers!

Thanks for the tip. I tried disabling it, but it still doesn’t work.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Validation ErrorI’m using the WordPress Twenty Seventeen theme on the site.
By the way, after @theduck pointed out the Captcha issue, I added Captcha to the contact form that was having the problem and it seems to be working fine now. There are no more validation error messages and the form submits successfully. Thanks for the feedback!
So it seems like all CF7 forms must have Captcha in order for them to function properly.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Validation ErrorThanks for the suggestion.
I may have to consider that in the future, but I have many forms that I would have to reconfigure. For now, I’m going to try re-posting this elsewhere to see if I can find a solution and keep CF7.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Validation ErrorHi, I seem to be having a similar issue with the validation errors. It has worked without any problems up to this point. It likely started occurring at the start of February 2019.
I have several forms on my site, but there is only one form that seems to have the problem. The form is integrated with MailChimp so people can subscribe to a newsletter. So far, I have tried the following with no solution yet:
– Disabled and deleted the Honeypot plugin
– Created a new contact form (with the same info)
– Created a radio button that needs to be selected by the user
– Refreshed the cache and tried different browsersAny other ideas to get this working again?
Here is the link to the contact form.

In reply to: [Recent Posts Widget Extended] How to Remove ‘Permalink to’ Text?Hi, thanks for the details.
I actually found another solution for it using a similar method with the ‘Real-Time Find and Replace’ plugin. I just pasted the text ‘Permalink to’ into the ‘Find’ area and left the ‘Replace’ area blank.
