Hi all – Sorry to jump in on the conversation late in the game. I’m having the same problem, and after trying the code above, it didn’t seem to work. Any ideas on why the large gap here:

I added the plugin Simple Lightbox, per: https://gist.github.com/tomhemsley/9463214

And it allowed the entire image. Formatting at the bottom of the page is raw, but at least I got where I was looking to go with the Slider:

Oh and another MAJOR problem: Why when I go to Manage Themes, the Save & Publish screen comes up with Theme Options, Colors, etc., but there is no preview showing, and I can’t click on any of the tab options? Nothing works except Cancel.

So that definitely worked, thank you Andrew. However anything I try to change in my Child theme ONLY under the /*Homepage*/ section, doesn’t want to overwrite. So I make notes there, and change the Parent lines, and it works there. Not sure why that is (100% because I don’t know what I’m doing), but I’ve got a work around and site looks great.
