I looked in the Stylesheet CSS..I couldn’t really find where the title was..a first sorry. As well the title switches from black to a biege color when one does a mouseover.

Here’s the stylesheet (long I’m sorry), if you have time could you point out where I would change the color. And do I need to follow the same color chart the designer used.

Thanks again Hans..was finally able to resolve this as you said. It had nothing to do with anything I entered in the title or sidebar. I had somehow deleted the ‘com’ under Wp/admin/options/wordpress URL.

Once it was put back in everything was fine.

Thanks much Hans…how do I go about changing it if I can’t get into my wp/admin/options page?

I’m the same person who thought it may have been because I changed my blog title in options..

I was just able to get to a page in my admin panel by using the back button. Again it’s only a printed looking page that looks like the first page one gets when signing into wp/adim..but at the bottom I see ‘General Options.”

Anyway I notice that in the place for’Wordpress Address,” the ‘com’ is missing from “https://maryblackchurch.” It looks exactly like this:

Blog address (URI): https://maryblackchurch.com

Is it supposed to look like this..if not I must’ve somehow deleted the ‘com’ and didn;t notice.

Am not able to use my blog and got an email froma commenter saying they were having problems seeing graphics and leaving a comment.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for replying..I’m fairly new at all this..so bare with please. No I didn’t change the blog address..just the title..of the blog in the space provided for in options.

It used to say
“Lady Mary Blackchurch ~diary of a dope fiend~
Those the Gods Destroy They First Make Proud”

Now it still says that..but I added “heroindiaries.com” in wp/admin/options..in the place provided for there..then hit ‘update.’

So it looks like this now:

“Lady Mary Blackchurch ~diary of a dope fiend~
Those the Gods Destroy They First Make Proud heroindiaries.com.”

That’s all I did..with the exception of adding a few art.com links to the sidebar..but it worked fine after that.

The place you sent me to says “Change ‘site_url’ and ‘home’ values” I’m afraid to go in and change anything as I’m not sure what I’m doing..do you think the blog title change caused this..and when you click on my blog do you see a theme?

I cannot access the phpMyAdmin or anything other than the first page in wp/admin..

P.S. Do I try and attempt this change from an FTP client?

Handy..after I backup the theme folder should I leave it in during the upgrade..or do you suggest I leave it out during the updgrade then put it back in after it’s done?

Sorry was only able to get back on this tonight. The themes creator suggested I delete the gravatar.php from the Eastview theme folder and put that file in the plugins folder. As I already had a gravatar.php file in my plugins folder I didn’t add another one, and now viola..the theme works fine.

SK2 seems to be working fine now..but not helping with the problem.

I got the plugin to work..activated it and did a Ctrl+F5..still not working :o(

Amendment (13:11:) Just got a lot of error messages after I tried to update a comment (Din’t get any the first time I tried editing one). The one that seems relevent to the ocmments though is:

Error: cannot update comment entry ID: 0 to status: moderated.
SQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1
Cannot update sk2_kSpamTable info (no comment ID provided).

Now I’m really lost..what do I do with that?
