Exactly, I totally agree, not a good business practice and it is wasting my time when I have to get site setup tonight, not happy about that, will look around now. It feels like bait and switch.

In reply to: [True Lazy Analytics] NOT ACTIVE PROJECTWordPress has not allowed me to edit my review post, so I will say it here.
Developer responded that code was not part of plugin package. Kinsta code analysts had determined class was flagged as malware and associated it with this plugin, so logically something has happened to allow a malware association with this code base. App has not been updated in 7 months and is behind in testing to current release of WordPress. Developer has code so he can take this issue further or follow-up with Kinsta and debate with them their analysis.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] Nice, but invasiveYes, I found the implementation methodology not following wordpress standard, creating some concern. Although I found initial configuration walk through good experience, how to then use on the site left me scratching my head.
Then went into editor to see if I could figure out how to use and boom in Elementor editor mode that plugin pops up as if this was a rendered view, strange and leaving me with concerns about integration and security. I was unable to find any info on using after configuration. I looked and didn’t see anything.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to setup pluginI had something similar happen, it just didn’t work, and when I tried to uninstall plugin it wouldn’t uninstall cleanly.

In reply to: [Redirection] URL / Referrer site redirect ?Sorry, WP is forcing http to https, so I take that to mean that that is one redirect and I’m thinking this is why another rule is not seeing the original referrer grco.de, qrco.de is what I need the rule to redirect on, as I want only that traffic to go to target url in rule. Not sure I’m explaining any better.
Thank you so much, I will followup with B2B

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Mobile chargeThe best thing would be integrate ios card scan, then your customers have some simpler option of in-person transactions without getting into the reader integrations.

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Mobile chargeYes, or a smartphone card scanner. There’s a real need for this, unless the cardreader apps don’t seem to integrate with WooCommerce, seems to be a gap in the market, maybe you guys can do something, you’d also earn revenue from the fee margin.

In reply to: [ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7] Works, but so much spam gets throughhcaptcha has issues, it is slow to respond and people don’t like the number of prompts to match images, some over kill on image matching and responsiveness to web services is lagging.
CORRECTION:
I’ve been corrected on this, apparently the template that is displayed by default is not the extent of what is possible with functionality. You have to see tutorial and extend worksheet to meet requirements. Thanks for correcting me on this.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] Very badIt’s possible if you got it via a 3rd party theme developer it was hacked to promote affiliate revenue scheme’s, you should start from clean, NEVER use a Theme that requires you to install their own plugins. BUT, that said, yes, it is a poorly run project, and the community has no interest in protecting the projects integrity, it is a cultural problem as the focus is on getting affiliate revenue out of everyone, there are a handful of supporters on community forum but they are somewhat naive as to what is happening here and why this paradigm will not change. You might want to consider other theme frameworks that are not controlled by one cultural group.
Wow, that’s enough to scare me away from a conversion to InnoDb.
I’m running one now with High Sensitivity, and yes there seems to be critical issues, the site was hacked and thought I had it cleaned up but maybe this is an indication that it is not clean, thanks for your feedback.
Sorry but there Open Support ticket on their website links here.
