In reply to: Images stacking order on mobile or tabletThanks, sure will do that!
Just to say though, I’ve chatted to a few people and they also encounter similar issues, not to do with Elegant Themes. They mostly complain about the fact that you can view the different modes but can’t actually make changes to one without the other…which can make a bit of a mess of things. I think this is a WP/divi issue which I hope will be sorted in the future…
Thanks again
Hi, thanks but already managed to sort it out!

In reply to: reCaptcha not appearing in contact formOk will do… thank you!
Hi Zhanna,
I’m using v2 (I already had it and not clear on whether I need to change that to v3, nor how, on my google registration – it doesn’t seem to allow me the option to change it).
For my contact form, I’m simply using the one provided in Divi in my layout.
You can see the form at the bottom of my Home page at https://www.youcandoanything.co.uk/
Thank you!

In reply to: reCaptcha not appearing in contact formI’ve not been using a plugin, just the contact form in Divi which comes with my layout…
Hi there,
Please help! I’ve been getting lots of spam messages through my Contact Forms, even though they had basic Captcha. Now, I’ve got reCaptcha, entered my keys and it all seems to be fine. However, nothing actually appears on my form.
I tested my form, sending myself a message. And protection seems to BE there and it IS working – it failed to send and it tells me me I need to be a human to send it. But then the captcha area doesn’t appear anywhere, so no one can actually send me anything…??
I’ve gone over the ‘design’ bit a hundred times, the text and cpatcha text colour are all set to white (the form is on a darker background, but anyway I tried dark text too… I also don’t know why the failing-to-send message also doesn’t come up in white but rather grey – which I can barely see on this background).
Thank you!

In reply to: Widget text box not opening!“The info in the file manager index.php is the current one
Current what?”
What I meant is that in this file, the site appears as it appears now after the theme change; with the missing widget box.
You tell me to do nothing with my database and then you advise it IS a good idea to back them up. ?
Basically, my question is, if I do a wp update now, will my site be saved as it is or will I have to rebuild the whole thing?
Meanwhile, the original problem is not resolved, nothing in wp is responding, I am unable to access any content.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Widget text box not opening!Ok I’ve accessed it, but i still don’t understand what i need to do with it!
As I’ve said, the widget box has disappeared now after changing to the twenty eleven theme, and so this is why i think it needs restoring! I’m really worried about updating the wp as it’s advising me as i might lose everything! The info in the file manager index.php is the current one, i.e. with the missing info, so obviously these files are not saves but just update as the site changes!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Widget text box not opening!Looking at my file manager, the content on there is the current content, i.e. missing the widget box. So this means the previous settings have been lost! So how are my files safe if i update wp??

In reply to: Widget text box not opening!Yes so where do I access this database?? And how do I restore it to the website?

In reply to: Widget text box not opening!…any more details?? Am looking at my files manager now and can’t find any files containing the actual contents of my site…sorry, am not a web developer and didn’t thought using wp would all be quite straight forward…and now that my site is changed (hasn’t got the widget box) are the files on FTP not changed as well??
Access the database

In reply to: Widget text box not opening! Now trying to re write my widget text box and it’s not allowing me to even put a text box there, basically nothing is responding ??

In reply to: Widget text box not opening! So all three first options have not made any difference, AND I’ve now lost all my Jenny settings and have to re-do everything!!
Is there any way I can re set it as it was without all this work??
And how do I re-upload the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress again without losing all my site’s settings and info?
