    If I understood properly

allowing users to choose from a list

, it will be the users who will be choosing the template. I won’t be setting the template, right?

It seems that StudioPress is also having issues with amp.

Anyways I have switched to reader mode. Until I reach to a solution.

So, currently, the plugin has removed those scripts while showing the amp-page, right?

Could you see the issues2, I edited in my above reply?

The plugin shows the validation errors with the Wordfence, magazine pro theme and genesis as well.

    Solved.
The urls in custom html widget were having the http instead of https. corrected them.

    Thanks for your help James.

If I may ask another help in the same thread, why I am seeing in the WordPress that the Amp plugin is having issues with the Wordfence plugin.

Also there are validation errors. The issues1 and issues2 it is showing is of javascript and some html as well, which it has removed to serve the page as amp.
The plugin asks for “confirmed removed” and “keep” options. The plugin says that if I choose to keep, the page will be served as non-amp.

My question-> If I “confirm remove” will the code be removed from the original page or the canonical-amp only. How the plugin is showing the amp page right now? 1) from the canonical-amp (from which it has removed the scripts), some temp page and still waiting for the user’s input (regarding the validation error).
This has been visible recently. Is there a recent change with the functioning of the plugin.
I am using the transitional mode of amp plugin right now.

    Thanks for your reply.

May be Cloudflare plugin was forcing towards https, as I remember that setting in the plugin. But the plugin is not opening right now.

I have disabled the plugin and installed-activated and fixed the images using HTTPS Image fixer as suggested by you then purged the Cloudflare cache. Still, the amp page is not showing secure in the browser.

Also, the same file url (that you have shown), in wordpress media library shows with https.
