  • I can’t tell what you did. It sounds like you may have just deleted some stuff. I would suggest that you just totally remove the wordpress installation and reinstall it in the proper place. It looks like you had not really done much with it yet, so it should not be a problem.

It looks like you installed wordpress in a subdirectory called blog instead of the root directory. If you go to
    https://www.magicktarotreading.com/blog
    you will see your site.

If you want your website to be based in your home root directory, you need to install wordpress there instead of in a subdirectory of it.

You should be able to use any of the plugins. Log into the admin panel of your wordpress site and click on “plugins”. If you have already found a plugin that you want to use, you can simply upload and activate it from there, or you can search using a key word of the kind of plugin that you want to use which will give you a selection of plugins that do what you are looking for. Then, you can select one of those and install and activate it from there.

There is no reason to pay for any more hosting. Your post mentioned where your website was hosted, but when I go to that address, I see another website of a photographer, so it looks like you are just piggy-backing off of someone else’s hosting account. That is fine, but, if that is the case, you still should have access to the admin area of your own wordpress site.

If you updated the original blog post, you would simply need to click the “update” button on the right to publish it live to the web.

When you create new posts, you just need to click the “publish” button to make them live to the web.
