The plugin is programmed to fail gracefully when it is unable to contact the Pdf.Ninja API to fill the PDF file. In the failure mode, it attaches the blank PDF and a text file to the email. The text file contains the information the user filled in and the error message which contains the reason why PDF filling failed. This is done so that the data is not lost and someone can resolve the problem.
What is the error message that you are getting in the txt file? It should be at the top of the txt file.
How often does this happen?

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Error on PDF UploadLooks like that JS file is part of ‘Perfect WooCommerce Brands’ plugin. Do you have that installed? Can you try disabling it and see if that solves your issue?
Once I get a chance, I will replace that the file upload with media library thickbox which should improve compatibility a bit.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Checkbox – selecting only one item – tag problemThere is a workaround. You have to resave the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. It seems like the PDF file has something broken in it. What software did you use to create the PDF file?

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Checkbox – selecting only one item – tag problemOther users also report this issue. Some of them report they were able to get it to work after after making some styling edits to the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
Once I get to the bottom of the issue, I’ll get this fixed.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Checkbox – selecting only one item – tag problemI’ve received you email and reviewed your issue. This is a known render bug that I am currently trying to debug. It affects some PDF viewers. The checkbox is getting filled in, however, it is not getting rendered in some PDF clients. You will see it will render just fine in Chrome. However, some of my PDF viewers don’t render it properly. Unfortunately, I currently don’t know of any workaround for this issue. I’ll keep you posted about any updates.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Checkbox – selecting only one item – tag problemI am not sure I completely understood what you are asking.
See Contact Form 7 docs,
https://contactform7.com/checkboxes-radio-buttons-and-menus/
https://contactform7.com/selectable-recipient-with-pipes/1. You can use the ‘exclusive’ attribute with checkboxes to make only one item selectable at a time
2. You can use pipes to display a different value to users than what is exported by the PDF
3. If you have different named checkbox fields in your PDF, You can map the CF7 field ‘oberflaeche’ to all of them and see if that works. If you send me the PDF to admin at maximum dot software along with your tags and a screenshot of mappings, I would be able to see more clearly what is wrong.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] TB-inline too high in browser so cannot load PDFWow, that looks broken. What browser are you using? Maybe this is caused by some browser extension?

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Console error when uploading a PDFThe console error that you are getting has been there since the beginning. It is outside the control of this plugin to fix. It does not break any functionality. Eventually, I will replace it with a call to media library dialog box.
I have just tested the plugin on the latest version of WordPress (4.9.7). Everything seems to be working normally. I am able to upload a PDF file and use it.
What browser/version are you using? Can you try disabling all browser extensions? What plugins do you have installed on your website? It is possible another plugin is causing issues. Try disabling plugins that may be messing with the upload functionality in the admin panel.
If you can’t figure it out and you are ok with sending me your wp-admin login details to my email (admin at maximum dot software), I can take a look and debug it.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Textarea not workinIt seems that page is behind login. Can you send your PDF file (that has the textarea) to my email (admin at maximum dot software)?
So, the PDF attachment disappears when you hit the save button on the CF7 edit page? This should not be happening. I would like to reproduce this bug on my end. What browser and OS are you using? If you don’t mind sending me your wp-login details (to admin at maximum dot software), I can try to debug it.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Cannot Map fieldsIt is possible your phone PDF viewer doesn’t support PDF forms. Try installing a more powerful PDF viewer app.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] Cannot Map fieldsVery strange. Did it happen without you doing anything? Did you update anything? Did you install any new plugins? Are you using the field mapper tool or the tag generator tool? I am guessing you are getting the PDF but it has no data. I can take a look at your setup if you send me admin access to your wp-admin to admin at maximum dot software.

In reply to: [PDF Forms Filler for CF7] watermark from pdf elementNothing. It must be part of the original PDF that you are trying to use with the plugin. It was there prior to having the PDF file processed by the plugin.
