In reply to: Is there a widget logic plugin that worked based "IF" and "AND"Thanks that is really cool. Although it seems like I would have to get their Pro version to make it to work across pages, which is exactly what I am looking for. I guess I would have to go without it for now, and maybe get it later because it is not cheap…
I just don’t know if my project worth the investment for now.

In reply to: Is there a widget plugin that can do this?Wow I didn’t think of it as punishment. Maybe I have not explained well.
Let’s say you are going to a website, and you land on a “Home Page”.
Home page might have some relevant content that you were looking for.
It could be an opt-in form that promises a certain Gift for signing up, or a video that you find interesting.Let’s say you watched a Video and wanted to visit relevant links that video suggested.
The link takes you to the page “X” where you find even more interesting content. Let’s say you spend on that page more then 5 minutes. The website will know right a way that you are really Interested in the subject, but you didn’t take any action, like opting in for a news letter, or purchasing a product.
Next time you go the Home page you no longer see the video that you watched the last time you were there, but instead you see content in the same widget that you spent 5 minutes on the page “X”. Now the widget where video was does not have to display exactly the same content that you read on the page “X”, but it could be related content that I choose to display for the visitors who have seen page “X”. So the only visitors who will see widgets with new content are those have seen page “X”, or in other words those who took action. The goal is to engage the visitor and keep them taking more action on your site.
Of course it does not matter if the person visits my Home page or some other page, I want the topics that He found Interesting to follow Him on my website.
In addition I wand to exclude other topics that He already took action on.
Let’s say I have three different featured products on my website.
You came to my website and you purchased one of the featured products.
Normally this product is the first product that I display in my widgets to show to new visitors, but after they purchase it, I want them to see other offers upon their return. So lets say you really liked the product you purchased from me, and you decided to visit my website again.
You come to my website and land on a “Home” page again, or any other page. Now instead of seeing a video or an opt-in box for the product you purchased, you see a completely different product or a video that is very relevant not just to what you purchased the last time, but which articles you spend on reading the most on the website.
This would offer a great customization for every visitor that visits my site and help them use and find content that is most interesting to them based on their previous visit.
In addition it would help clear up the blog from unnecessary forms and banners if the visitor has already took action, and give them an opportunity to see new content relevant to them without using the menu, or clicking through other pages to find relent topics.
This would solve bounce rate too because the visitor would see new posts that are relevant to them, verses just new posts.I don’t really think that there is a plugin that can do all of the things I described, but I would be very happy with something basic, that would help me show different widgets to the returning visitors based the pages they have seen on my website.
