I have the exact same problem on WordPress 4.61 too.
It’s not a multi-site, just a regular wordpress installation with wp to buffer extension
The posts don’t appear in Buffer either, and I get the thin red line and blank box whenever I post and update a post (when the extension should submit it to buffer).
I can provide more informations, or access to the wp for the app developers if needed.
