I have just taken this site on – it was never really finished, though it is live. I know I need to update wp – it’s on the to-do list, but I haven’t raised the potential problems of plugins not working with the client yet. There is somekind of ‘hard coded jQuery’ affair that is making the image library work and I don’t really want to risk that falling over.

solved – the table prefixes were different

What i mean is we have a series of 9 tasks. When they fulfill one they press the submit button – which is then auto accepted.

As admin I get an email. They don’t. I suppose what we really want it that the badge is emailed to them.

(The other thing is that our credly connection seems to have stopped working – badges aren’t being sent to the accounts as they get them. And notice is not arriving in our account either – do you think this is a credly issue. We’d be happy to pay for some support – just want to get things working properly as we ahve spent a lot on design https://www.spacetoearthchallenge.org.uk/your-own-space-tri/)

well I always figured I was doing something wrong!

On the settings page the ‘Send email when submissions/nominations are received:’ is enabled.

I also checked the user – and it says ‘Email Preference Enable BadgeOS Email Notifications’ is checked

Where else do I enable it please?

no – its not my site – its a friend. I am helping her. I looked in the database and I can see that it says ‘editor’ in her users entry.

I have tried creating myself as an admin by inserting into the users and meta table as per https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database-via-mysql/ but it says I don’t have permissions.

I think its getting to the point where I’ll have to get her to contact godaddy

I checked out the test user again – ‘bobthedog’ has been awarded the first mission 4 times – and the all links in the middle go to the same place.

I know you aren’t responsible for credly API /setup.

I am wanting to be get the badgeos side of things sorted. (Credly had been helping quickly but have gone very quiet now – the last thing they said was that something was wrong with badgeos – I want to clear up that I have set it up right. I will chase them again)

I wanted to show you a pdf/screen shot. It shows the view that an admin gets when they look at a test user. Its been pointed out to me by credly that there is duplication of the badges for this test user. They are suggesting this might be an issue?
