The update appears to still have a problem. I’m seeing users are triggering the “become an affiliate” achievement simply by registering for an account on the site. I double checked and affiliates are not auto-registered when they sign up for an account. In fact, they have to be approved. I checked the affiliates, and these users are not approved or even registered as affiliates. But the event is firing regardless with each registration.
