One more thing, what are these ‘validation errors’ you are speaking of? I’ve seen this in quite a few replies and I don’t know how you are seeing these? What exactly are they and how do I see them?

Thank you SO much. I’m going to try it as soon as I figure out where to find my catagory ID. Any suggestions? I checked the file manager for catagories, but I can’t figure it out.

I’m wondering if the above code will work to also STOP a post from being posted if I specify which post by the catagory it relates to.

more simply, how can I put something into the navigation code that will generate, automatically, a newly updated pic for that particular button?

So does this mean that I have to post the photo in a ‘write – post’ page? How do I add the previous and next buttons into the code if my theme doesn’t have this already? Thx

WOW, that’s a beautiful site (Matts gallery), but no…what I’m trying to do is to keep my regular old blog but make only one of my navigation buttons able to link to one photo daily. And then the next day when I add a new photo…the first photo will go somewhere in an archives (?) and the new photo will appear.
BUT, I’d also like to have a link to the previous photo on the current photos page.
