That’s the problem. How do I delete a plugin that doesn’t show up in my list of plugins?

In reply to: Hidden menu items now visible since update to WP 3.4I don’t know what everybody else’s experience is, but the WP default is that menu items created with private pages remain visible, and you just get an error message if you try to access it without permission.
I had disabled the Role-Scoper plugin at the same time as the WP update, because I thought I wasn’t using it (don’t need the advanced role management). BUT, that plugin does the amazing thing of hiding menu items created with private pages.
So, I’ve re-activated Role-Scoper, and my problem is solved, my two menu items are nicely hidden from non-logged-in viewers.
Request to WP developers: could you please make this an integral element of WordPress, i.e. private pages are invisible as menu items to non-authorized viewers? Just sayin’.
Hey, I resolved my own post!
Thanks.

In reply to: Hidden menu items now visible since update to WP 3.4Thanks. That’s what I get too. Menu items visible, with 404 message when you click on it. But before upgrading to 3.4, I had it so the menu items were invisible to anyone not logged in, and I want to get that back. Was this feature remvoed in 3.4?
Anybody else have hidden menu items that work?

In reply to: Hidden menu items now visible since update to WP 3.4OK. I tried that. Didn’t work. Thanks anyway. Are you seeing those three supposed-to-be-hidden menu items (i.e. Members, Committees and Secret)?

In reply to: [Yoko] [Theme: Yoko] How to remove author and comment count?I too would like to know how to remove only the author from the Yoko theme. I am the only one who posts, so it is redundant to have everything say “by admin”. I have a child theme, but don’t know what code to delete/change. Hoping someone has an answer for you/us.
