In reply to: Multisite – multilinual contentNow I found the right plugin for what I like to achieve: Translatepress. This plugin does not require a copied and translated page or post, but instead it lets you create a translated blocks and presents this in a native subdirectory /nl or /en etc.
I tested it and it works fine. So, no multisite and also no double pages for every language.

In reply to: Multisite – multilinual contentWell, I’ve only just discovered that plugins like WPML or Polylang don’t
necessarily translate automatically. You can also do it manually and then you already have a correlation between pages with 2 different languages. You have to create those pages anyway.
Then it’s not necessary to create a network/multisite.
An alternative for the DIY is for example this: https://www.prodjex.com/2017/07/werpdress-shortcode-current-url/ where you can link the current page yourself with a trick and some programming experience.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Unable to access network adminI had the same using Firefox. Something with the setup if you missed the https-rules. It was solved simply by using Chrome. After that I could setup the right rules in .htaccess and/or wp-config.php
Solved it! No action required.
Had to do with some dumb code around it, caused by Gutenberg I think.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Firefox reduces images into stripesOf course, I’m aware of that:)….
But I also found out that other ‘showcases’ of this theme do not have these problems. I once asked someone who works with this theme about it and she did not know of this issue. It just worked as it should work.
I also installed the theme on a new, clean WordPress environment without plugins, imported the demo-files: same issue.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Firefox reduces images into stripesI’ve tried the Custom JS CSS plugin. Did not work.
Off topic: I bought this theme more than a year ago. No issues, works fine. But it is only a hobby (more or less) and then I do not even have time enough to complete my website. So there’s my consideration: renew expensive support for only 1 issue, or try another way to display images, for example Foobox/Foogallery.
Just Upgraded to 2.0.10 (beta), and all gallery display issues disappeared. Hooray!
One thing is strange… displaying an album [album=xx, extend] shows smaller thumbails per gallery. About 101 x 78. How can they be so small and not 120 x 120 as put in options?
The upper mentioned Attach To Post-problem is still there…
Upgraded my testsite to 2.0.7, but it still won’t work.
I tried both Chrome and IE 9.How can I ever upgrade my websites if there are so many issues.
Hope not to use another plugin, because of all the work…. :()
I do not know how I resolved. The only thing I did was changing some gallery settings. Templates were set to extend.php.
Glad this is my test subdomain. I will certainly not update my other websites untill I notice something that’s called “stable”.
That’s good news! I updated NextGen and indeed importing metadata works!
Thanks.
I certainly hope for a stable 2.0(.x)!
This issue is also causing a wrong date in (SEO) xml sitemaps for ngg-tags ánd the xml-file itself is dated 1-1-1970.Hi,
I just installed MS update IE10 and guess what: the tab is NOT upside down as in IE9…. unless you used krmediadesigns’s fix. Then it’s upside down again ??@simon: so we have to re-import all images again (?)
Hopefully there will be an update real soon.Same here. Seems to a problem since last update (or 1.9.11).
I need it because images from different camera’s need to be sorted by date.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post Sorting Reloaded] PSR also sorts widgetsI’ve used another and better plugin for showing the last post in the widget. And now it works fine.
