I’ve just had the exact same issue. Never seen it before. Customer reported that the site directed him to paypal at checkout, took payment, and then when he was redirected back to my site the page immediately told him that the order had been cancelled. I got no email to say “new order”, but instead got one saying that it had been cancelled, followed by one saying “Order #—- has been marked paid by PayPal IPN, but was previously cancelled. Admin handling required.” I checked in my paypal account and the payment had in fact come through ok.
Order notes were as follows:
Order status changed from Processing to Completed.

ONE Sample Player (one) stock reduced from 4 to 3.

Order cancelled by customer. Order status changed from Pending payment to Cancelled.
added on April 19, 2017 at 8:10 pm Delete noteMost strange. This among many issues since updating to Woo 3. Not too impressed so far really. Have had lots of doubled emails, along with grouped child products becoming invisible (again, picked up by a customer)
