If you just want to get around it for the time being maybe set your permissions to 777 in the csv import directory in an ftp program. It worked for me but would need to be changed back every time for security reasons. Maybe your host needs to lessen their restrictions as they can play havoc with wordpress plugins, images, everything that files and folders need to be accessed by you for. From what I gather when things like this happen it is as you are not being given access to ‘write’ in the folder whcih can only be got around by changing permissions.

I got around this by setting the permissions of the csv import folder to 777 but that is more of a temporary fix and a pain in the backside doing it every time I want to upload.

Thanks for the reply. Ah I worried there might not be. To be honest duplicating the products was a last resort. Basically I wanted a number of existing products to appear with add to cart and quantity selectors on another products single product page (The company sells towels and there’s a chance that while looking at one product in a brand that customers could be tempted to buy another). Related products is not in the style that we require and as grouped products doesnt allow me to do this as I can only link one product to one other I though that if I did a mass duplication I could link each version of the product (the duplicates) to one other product and get the look that I wanted while also keeping my stock in check.

I see from looking at your code that you’re using an elegant themes theme. These options can be changed in epanel>generalsettings>homepage. Where it says ‘number of recent posts displayed on homepage’ set it to whatever number that you want.
