So I’ve spoken to the website owner, this is how he manages it…

1. The lesson is a “Final Exam”
2. The lesson title is adjusted each time, i.e. “Final Exam for Class 1”
3. The lesson post is opened by “changing the date to be less than the current date”.
4. The students then do the “Final Exam 1” quiz.
5. Once the students have completed the quiz, the date is changed to 2028 so it’s inaccessable.
6. Then, in the future once those students have completed and new students are granted access, the title is changed, i.e. “Final Exam for Class 2”
7. Cycle then repeats from step 3.

Yes this then unfreezes them and grades the lesson for them, but this is happening to ~half the class.

It seems this has something to do with scheduling, so the lesson is scheduled, runs for an hour (i.e. the style of an exam), then is reset to scheduled in the future, could this be the problem?

@joashrajin, that’s one of the problems is that I’m unable to recreate it but I can see that there’s an issue here.

I believe the Lessons are duplicated using Yoast Duplicate Post if that’s of any help – I can advise the website owner not to duplicate and to start a fresh see if this helps?

The immediate problem is that we’re unable to mark this students work as it says “In Progress” but the student has sent it in and is unable to re-send it/edit it, is there any way to force these specific lessons from In Progress -> Completed?

No the client has confirmed the quiz was set to “Auto Grade”.

This is true, however due to the nature of their business model he cannot offer retakes.

Because of the lesson being Auto Grade and because of no retakes we’re unsure how we can allow this user to resubmit as it’s stuck in “In Progress”.

Hi @bluejay77 thanks for your help so far just wanted to update you, I’ve done some tweaking to the PHP version and versions of the Sensei LMS plugin and the WooCommerce Bookings plugin and the issue seems to have been eliminated.

I’m considering this fixed for the meantime, thank you.

Thanks for your help, I was able to determine from creating a staging site that a new error appeared mentioning that an old API key was stored and that the object caching should be cleared.

Upon clearing the object cache on production the issue has resolved.

The theme is X Theme by Themeco and when we use the video background option paired with Jetpack’s CDN and lazyload it no longer loads the video background. X Theme does not have a CDN feature as far as I’m aware.

This isn’t so much of a problem now as the client is happy with and prefers a static hero image.

I am getting the issue with only the Media Library Folders activated on both Storefront and Twenty Twenty themes.

The depreciation message is displayed on the dashboard at any section but not on the front-end.

The depreciations message do not persist once your plugin is disabled.

I’ve had to FTP into affected sites, rename the Contact Form 7 directory (located inwp-content/plugins/) to zzzcontact-form-7 which will restore the site with the Contact Form 7 plugin disabled.

Once the site is back up you can safely update Contact Form 7 as you would any other plugin and re-activate.

I must say it’s very surprising to see an update like this got through testing.
