In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Job typesHi @chayma2020
You can override
templates/job-filter-job-types.php
if you want to have all job types deselected when a user begins their job search. However, note that this will make it so there are no jobs showing when the user initially loads the job listing page.More about template overrides can be found here:
https://wpjobmanager.com/document/template-overrides/
Thanks,

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] I paid 63 Euro for 1 yearHi @leontarion
Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your feedback.
Twitter has recently announced that they will stop offering free access to their API, which we use to share content on their platform. We have attempted to work with them in good faith to negotiate new terms, but we have not been able to reach an agreement. As a result, we removed the Twitter connection from Jetpack Social. We sincerely empathize with your concerns as this is not the outcome we were hoping for, either.
The good part is that you can still share your posts on Twitter manually by copying the post link and pasting it into your tweet. In the meantime, Jetpack Social will continue supporting auto-sharing for Tumblr, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and we’re actively working on integrating Instagram and Mastodon soon.
Please check out the article linked below for further details:
https://jetpack.com/blog/the-end-of-twitter-auto-sharing/We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you need further assistance or would like to discuss your options for a refund because of the removal of Twitter auto-sharing, could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Markdown Block seizing up?Hi @bixfrankonis
Anyone else sometimes find that their Markdown Block becomes semi-unresponsive? Like, suddenly you try to hit return a couple of times for a new paragraph and it just sits there, but if you click out of the block and back into it, suddenly the new returns are there?
Or, often in conjunction with the above, you click into a spot in the block to write something and no letters appear and the cursor doesn’t move, and if you click out and click back in, maybe one or two letters of what you typed will be there?
I have just taken some time to test this out on my side, though I am using Safari Version 16.5 rather than a Technology Preview version of Safari.
Are you still experiencing this issue if you use the current shipping release of Safari (16.5)? If so, can you tell us a little more about how often this issue is happening and the URL of the site you are experiencing this issue on?
Hi @layil
I just installed the jetpack plugin to a new site and after activating it, if I click on the setup button, nothing happens. I managed – not sure how – to connect the website but if I go to jetpack settings, after a while the whole page content disappears. I already tried to debug by deactivating everything else but the issue remains. Can someone please help?
I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Hi again @lebrochet!
what do you say !? Do we need more features – should we re-work the code somewhere somehow!?
Almost anything is possible with WP Job Manager, depending on how much customization you are willing to do. The approach you’ve described is definitely one way you can go about adding the extra functionality you need to WP Job Manager.
That said, assisting with customizations like you’re describing is outside of the scope of the support that we can offer, per our?Support Policy. If you need extra help, you can search for development help in a variety of places — here are a few to start:

We will keep this thread open, in case someone from the community is willing to provide further help here for free.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Date of a JobHi @biomeglio,
There are a few different ways to customize form submission fields in WP Job Manager.
A) For simple text changes, use a plugin such as Loco Translate (it can also “translate” text into different words in the same language).
B) Use a third-party plugin such as WP Job Manager Field Editor:
WP Job Manager Field Editor has a great GUI for editing fields.I hope this helps!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Dual identity of home pageHi @acekin,
I see. But what I call “home” page is the default page displayed when the domain name is entered and the user presses the enter key. The all posts page has /blog after the domain name. I understand that that page is automatically filled by WordPress, and is called an archive page. Is it also called “home page?”
Your site can only have one home page, and in this case, your home page is the page that loads when you visit https://www.keptlight.com/ directly. The content of your home page is made up of your most recent posts and changes over time as you add new posts to the site.
When you add new posts to your site, the posts that were previously featured on your homepage are moved to your archive page, located at https://www.keptlight.com/blog/ specifically. The archive page is not considered a home page.
I forgot to add to the short list that on the stats page, hovering over the Home Page / Archives bar displays the same URL as the Kept Light Photography bar. They are both pointing to the following: https://www.keptlight.com
Can you send us a screenshot of what you’re seeing here? You can attach screenshots to any email responding to us or use a service like https://snipboard.io/ to share your screenshot with us if you don’t already have a preferred method.
You should find these instructions helpful, too:

Hope this helps!
