In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Cannot map to the right destinationhy. setting up a correct test with the mentioned text-file is the first step. if that does not work, it makes no sense to play with mappings.
your hosting-provider would be the one that could help you setting up the domain aliases correctly, so that they point to the same root directory without any redirections ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Cannot map to the right destinationhy ?? have you tried our hints for setup from the plugin description (working with a test.txt file)?
if this works, next would be to find out if any plugins or your theme could cause redirections by disabling them one by one…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Multiple Sitemapshy. we are aware of that. we hope to be able to work on some more futures in 2024. you need to know that our plugin is not developed as a business case, so ressources are always rare ??
thank you for your feedback!

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Images not visiblehy ??
you serve your website throught https, but you have http-sources in your srcset (for responsive images). i can not tell from the first look why.a quick fix would be to disable the srcset. you can read on here: https://perishablepress.com/disable-wordpress-responsive-images/
we will have a look at srcset, but in our testing environments we never had problems with it :/
hope this helps ??

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Is this possible with your plugin?hello! thank you for the interesting question. we have had some projects with woocommerce (i guess you are talking about woocommerce). we have always gone the way to do checkout on the main domain. it is too tricky, especially when talking about webhooks and callbacks from payments.
so no, since we do not offer woocommerce compatibility generally, we can not provide this. please take a look at our partner plugin, which may be interesting for you: https://www.falkemedia.at/multiple-domain-mapping-on-single-site-premium/hy,
yes, that is really not how it should work. https://dev-test.mywpsite.com/subdomain-test-post/ would be the correct link. have you tried to disable other plugins or use a wordpress standard theme temporarily?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Links in shortcode not workinghy ??
i don’t know which shortcode you mean?
if you mean the rss feed of the mapped site in general, then we are aware that this is still showing the original domain. this is in our backlog.matt

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Trouble with descendant URLswell, if you want to use cross-domain-tracking, you will need to keep these parameters. if not, you must reconfigure your analytics-account. that is well documented from google ??

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Trouble with descendant URLshello. these parameters are from google analytics. looks like you have set up tracking across multiple domains / subdomains in your settings. google analytics needs these to remember the sessions ??

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Issue with redirects, iFrames, etc.hy!
i don’t think that i completely understood what you are aiming to. but i guess it would be good to configure your apache server so that redirects from www to non-www (or vice versa, as you like) are done serverside already.
please note that our plugin does not instantiate any redirections.
here you have a good resource for that topic: https://ubiq.co/tech-blog/redirect-www-non-www-apache-htaccess/
you can start with heading #4 where it says “Add the following lines in your htaccess file.”

In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] Redirect to principal domainhy serge,
sorry for the late reply ??
we are aware that sometimes redirections occur, where we could not find a good solution to find out the cause easily. i would suggest that you try our partner plugin, which is described here: https://www.falkemedia.at/multiple-domain-mapping-on-single-site-premium/
i hope this will work for you. unfortunately we cannot provide deeper support since lack of ressources for our free plugin by now ??
good luck,
matthy ??
thank you for your feedback! we are aware of this topic and it is already in our backlog. we hope to release a new version somewhen this year, but it is hard to plan right now since the plugin is not our main business (in fact it is no business :D).please just let me know, do you work with the inbuilt sitemap from wordpress, or do you use something like yoast seo for that?
