Update: I found where the zip files is being created. The size of the zip files grows to around 4.63 Gb, and then is deleted starts growing again. This continually repeats.

Is Simply Static running into a system file size limit and restarting?

In the WordPress Dashboard, scroll down to find “Google Photos” and click on it. Below it now you will see “Shortcode examples”. Click on it.

Under Google Photo Album Details, find the album name of the album you wish to display, and copy the example shortcode. There is an shortcode example for each of your photo albums. The examples already include the album ID.

Paste into your page or post.

I fixed this with “Additional CSS” instead. Problem solved.
