I have had exactly the same issue trying to get Flock to submit to my XMLRPC interface. I tried loading the file by hand into a browser, and got a 403 error.

My fix was to rename the file to something else (for instance remotepost.php) and point Flock there.

My guess is that the httpd.conf is blocking the file as suggested above, but my server arrangement will not allow to find out for sure.

Yes, I see the blog itself, but I get a “no results found” message on www.

I.e.: No posts are shown. Do you see it normally?

Heh, WordPress doesn’t touch anything in my file either. This would be a good thing, except that what I mean is that WordPress doesn’t ANYTHING in my file. It’s as though it just doesn’t exist. I have it set to 666, in the public_html directory of my hosting, which is where the blog lives.

Any ideas?

I’m not sure. My wordpress files are in the same directory as the site files, the root of my hosting. It just doesn’t offer up any clues.

IIRC, WP 1.2 gave you the rewrite rules on the edit permalink page, so you could copy and paste them if it didn’t work manually.

Is this not still an option?

I’ve just changed it to simply “1” and it seems to work.
