Yeah those bother me too. It was more a quick way to add those links without having to redesign the entire template, which quite frankly is too much for me now ?? I am glad you think they suck too. Now I have to change them soon!

It should be from the server as I uploaded it from my local copy. I also tried editing in the “Templates” tab in wordpress. Same thing. I was wondering if there is another file that controls the category appearnace?

Thats what i cant figure out. my index.php file does not have it as an unordered list. here is my code:

thanks for the help. That worked to a point. For some reason, the actual permalinks are not working, when I click on the permalink, I keep getting a “Page Not Found.”

Oh well, no biggy. I will just use the regular permalinks.

Is this what I am looking for? It is in the templates.php file.

If so, I am still unsure of where to put the ‘Rewrite’ stuff at. Sorry if I don’t make sense. I am a newbie to WordPress.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully that will take care of it, but if anyone else has any insight in the meantime, I would greatly appreciate it.
