Sorted, theme had defaulted to default so changed the file name of the custom theme.

@ousep – ive tried this but it didnt work… still displays the content wrapped in the is_front_page php code no matter what page it is.

@michaelh – the template for my older posts page is the same as my home page.

Heart are proving to be a little… erm… crap. having no telephone support is worse than i thought. There have been other problems with wordpress plugins not working when they were running fine on fasthost. But i now have a cutom 404! Wahoo!

Fasthost are failing… Were in a recession so they screw up the wordpress customers and then rub salt in the wound by farming their support out to eastern europe.

I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY FASTHOST HOSTING! Also, the company I work for are in the process of shutting down their re-seller account and moving 200+ sites over to Heart. You should all do the same… Consumer power!
