Background Image broken since update

I just edited your download link to get the old version. I will post the link below if anyone needs it.

I installed the old version (1.3.6) and the background image works perfectly. So,I am sure your update crashed something.

Maybe you should look into this. Or, you can deny there is a problem as you seem to do with every other issue.

If 1.3.6. works 1.3.7 should also work because we just changed css in 1.3.7 from 1.3.6 and not the script. Script was changed in 1.3.6 from 1.3.5.

I really love this theme and want it to work so bad!

We did extensive testing today and found that there aren’t any problems in 1.3.7

So we would request you to send your username and password of admin panel of your website at [email protected]

I am sure there are plugins or something else on your site which causes 1.3.7 not to work.

Otherwise it works just fine

You are using images of more than 2-3 mb size.

You have to use size of images lesser than 1mb or less than 800kb.

I have the same problem. The template was working perfectly well until WordPress was updated to 3.9.1. Since then, the front page is not loadiing the background and the animated circle keeps on all the time.

I have tried to reduce the size of the backgroung image (299KB), plus all the pictures, etc, but I could not get it working.

As belizelife pointed I tried with the previous version 1.3.6, and I could not get it working either.
I will send the login and password to the web page in case that you can help me on this.

By the way, I have removed all the widgets, but for some reason now it keeps the archive and the meta widgets in the right side of the panel.

I have the same problem so not sure why this is listed as “resolved”?

I checked your website and you don’t have any image (not even a single image) loaded in homepage slider settings section.

Don’t understand why it is so difficult to just check for once the homepage slider settings from theme options. https://www.joseferreras.com/ has this problem.

Others like belizelife are posting heavy images and others who are claiming they have posted small sized images have actually not even posted a single image in the slider.

So not sure what are we supposed to do. For free theme please don’t expect us time and again to check each and everyone’s admin panel and answer.

Please please check the settings first or image size.

I have all 5 images loaded into the slider and have since I reported the issue.
This is pretty simple, It was working until your theme updated. I roll-back the version (not wordpress, your theme) and it works. I have loaded and unloaded the update 2 times to make sure.

Guess what? It does not work when I update.

I have no other plugins running.

And, the issue WAS NOT RESOLVED!!!

Sorry, I accidentally removed the image, but now it is back again and it does not work.

I understand that getting any extra help or support from you, when using the Free theme, is a plus, and you do not have to.

But I suppose that SKT is providing this theme for your promotion, which is logical and understandable. And I like many of your ones, but considering that your Free template has got a problem since the update, you should listen and least make it working. Before it was, but now is broken. Otherwise the next people installing the same theme they won’t be impress either.

You have not set ANY IMAGE.

I already have mentioned this multiple times that after version 1.3.5 slider script has been changed.

You have to re insert the images. Please visit the above link, set the slider images and it should be good to go.
