Thanks for checking. Fixed it. Some of the images that the client had loaded were HUGE (4000×3000 at 480dpi.)! Got them to change them for smaller versions. All’s well.

OK, never mind. I just got confused because on the video you there was a “default” link, but in the new version it’s called “presets.” Otherwise all is fine. My bad. Sorry.

Never mind. Got it (almost) sussed. Put it into a custom field.

Our particular problem (this time) with the firestorm plugin is that our host as advised us that they’ve had to temporarily shut down or site several times because we’ve severely breached the limit on CPU use.

Here’s part of the email they sent us:

“a single hosting account may use no more than 25% of the entire server’s resources. Accounts are typically not actively restricted until they exceed those resource limitations exceptionally. Unfortunately, in this instance, we were forced to place a temporary restriction on your user to prevent service issues with the server’s over-all system performance.”

We’ve investigated it, and found, through using the p3 plugin profiler, that the problem probably is:
“A fatal error occurred during profiling: Allowed memory size of 83886080 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in file /fs-real-estate-plugin/fsrep_install.php on line 46”

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I do need a programmer to help me with a problem with this plugin. I was going to use O-desk, but if you have programmers, can you please let me know how to get in touch with you and hire them?

I am totally interested. We have hundreds of properties listed with this plugin and cannot afford do abandon it, either.

I deactivated the “fs-real-estate-plugin” and placed a gallery on a static page, so I could view it (all other pages with galleries are created dynamically by “fs-real-estate-plugin” so I couldn’t test on them when it was disabled).

Same problem.

Any thoughts?

I have bought the pro version, and have been trying for half a year to get support, but with no success. Today I tried to post yet another support ticket, but their site shows “Fatal error: Cannot re-assign auto-global variable _POST in /home/fsplugin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fs-shopping-cart/extensions/profeatures.php on line 41”

This is the worst support (NON support) I have ever gotten from an online product, esp. WP.

I’d love to try a different plugin. Can you suggest one? I haven’t found one that would be as robust as this one (if it worked properly.)

Also, I’ve added over 100 properties to my site, and over 2, 000 photos. What a hassle it would be to change plugins!

I’m thinking of hiring a “real” programmer to try to fix it, but that may cost a fortune.

OK, it’s been two months, and I have written a support ticket to the developer with my info, and I have gotten no reply. I have also bought the damned thing for the “preferred support” but there has been none. I have written support tickets again and again to remind him of this problem, but still nada.

The property searches are NOT working fine, and I provided admin access in the support tickets.

This could be a really great plugin if there were ANY support at all.

I have the same problem, and have updated to the newest version, it has not improved it. I’ve posted elsewhere about this and no one has answered for weeks.

I like the IDEA of this plugin, but it has been performing sub-par, and the service has been very bad. I’d like to buy it for my other clients, but it’s not a consideration, until these issues have been solved.

In “other options” I clicked on “lightbox effects” and clicked “thick box.” That seemed to have done it.

That carousel template isn’t exactly what I’m looking for. I don’t want to see a gallery under the image on the page, but I’d like to see a carousel of the images (in thumbnails) under the window which pops up.

I did. Thanks. It was the options. Don’t know why they changed when I updated, but it’s sorted out now. What ever became of the carousel that showed under the main image, though?
