Meta search I mean the meta description of a page. I do my Meta Description with Yoast, maybe is that the reason.
About categories: we are heavily loaded categories also with content, as categories is describing the vertical of an industry or a destination. The blog posts are then a subcategory of a topic within the region (top 5 paragliding flights etc.). Here an example of a category page:
