@juriix Please tell me how can I help you?
On the kudyznudy.cz website images are loaded from the CDN server: cdn.kudyznudy.cz, so my plugin cannot handle them. Please start by deactivating this CDN service.
PHP Notice means that there was a problem with the plugin. Something in the code was not done correctly, so I really appreciate your report @twvania, because it gave me the opportunity to fix it.
Hi @twvania,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you have encountered a problem with our plugin.
I checked it and you are right, this problem does indeed occur.
I have made a fix that eliminates this problem and released an update for the plugin in version 6.1.3. Please download this version and let me know if the problem is gone for you too.

Mateusz@juriix In the first post you provided a different website URL, now you are sending a different one. On this website images are loaded from a CDN server.
I am sorry, but I do not quite understand what you expect from me. Please tell me how can I help you?
@juriix How were they previously imported as WebP?
Hi @bigbugsy,
Thank you for your message.
Our plugin is not used to optimize the amount of disk space used. The plugin can be used to optimize the weight of images loaded on the website, which makes the website load faster.
Maybe I’ll tell you how our plugin works?
When a browser tries to download an image file, the plugin checks if it supports the AVIF format (if enabled in the plugin settings). If so, the browser will receive an equivalent of the original image in the AVIF format. If it does not support AVIF, but supports the WebP format, the browser will receive the equivalent of the original image in WebP format. In case the browser does not support either WebP or AVIF, the original image is loaded. This means full support for all browsers.
Our plugin does not modify or delete original files. Files converted to WebP and AVIF formats are saved in a separate directory: /wp-content/uploads-webpc/.
Best,
MateuszHi @juriix,
Thank you for your message.
From what I can see, only two images are not available in WebP format, and the rest are available in WebP format. The reason for this situation is the limitation of the WebP format. These images were probably previously optimized and after conversion to WebP they weigh no less than the original file, so the plugin uses the original files.
In this situation, I recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. I did an analysis to learn more about the potential benefits of using the AVIF format for you. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh 36% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. Then images such as ROM-580×400-1.jpg will weigh less than the originals and will be loaded in the next-generation format.
In addition, please remember to purge the cache in your hosting panel. This should be the first step.

Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:

MateuszHi @rustykins,
Thank you for your message.
By default this data is deleted. You can activate the option “Keep images metadata stored in EXIF or XMP formats” in the Advanced Settings tab in the plugin settings panel.

MateuszHi @rustykins,
Thank you for your message.
It would be best if you just check it. If the images are added to the Media Library then such an image should be optimized automatically. If they are not added to the Media Library, then you can activate the option “Convert automatically images from custom directories” in the Advanced Settings tab in the plugin settings panel – this should solve any problem with automatic image optimization.

In reply to: [Converter for Media - Optimize images | Convert WebP & AVIF] Delete pluginHi @gtcrea,
Thank you for your message.
Now I have purchased a Premium plugin to convert images to both webP and AVIF so I intend to uninstall your plugin and install the Premium version of the new one to also use the AVIF functionality.
You don’t have to uninstall the plugin – just activate the access token in the free version of the plugin. That’s all.
Best,
Mateusz@jbertrand3000 There is no point in using multiple plugins to optimize images. Please choose one plugin and use it.
