I just noticed that this isn’t related to the server config. Because that are some blogs that sometimes it works and sometimes it gives me a 404. Even with the trailing slash. Other thing I noticed is if it’s a page related to the main site it works with or without the ‘/’. But if it’s a blog (or sub site if you will) it doesn’t.

what exactly should I tell them?

my table prefix is ‘wp_’ and even though when I add a new site, the tables don’t get created in the database as well.

I just read about eAccelerator and I will give it a try this weekend. Hopefully this will help.

I’m having the same problem but aside from the main blog, I’m running around 15 blogs under the same installation. We have around 15k hits and 20 new posts per day. I already optimized the theme, running wp total cache and nothing seems to be working. I’m on Dreamhost PS with 800MB of RAM and they just told me they increased temporarily to 1000MB but they would like me to optimize more and I don’t know what else to do.

I wonder if I took the 15 blogs out everything would be better.

I wonder if it’s because I’m using WP3.x.

edit: I tried on 2.9.2 and got the same error.

I tried what gcarson said, but didn’t work for me. Tried all other formats as well. Even the CSV example doesn’t give me the exact date. It always posts as today.

My SUPER ADMIN is gone after updating to the latest nightly build and I’m getting this error message whenever I try to do something.

I installed simple:press and it messed everything up. I will start from scratch as well.

From now on you should only edit your permalink when Editing your website. I think.

You have to Edit your main website and change the “Permalink Structure”.

@pswheeler follow the instructions of my previous post. it’s exactly what I did.

And also, I need them to be logged in all sites at once. Is it possible?
