    Hi @oliver24

Thank you for reaching out! To assist you better, could you please provide us with more details about your current setup? Specifically:

    • Which version of the plugin are you using?
    • What is your current PHP version?
    • Which version of WordPress are you running?

Additionally, do you have any caching mechanisms or plugins enabled? If so, could you please clear the cache and check if the issue persists?

If possible, it would also be helpful if you could provide access to a staging environment for further investigation. This will allow us to diagnose the issue more effectively.

    Hello @razakhadim

Thank you for reaching out! Currently, the plugin processes up to 50 files per batch, and there isn’t an option to offload all 22,437 files at once in the free version. This feature is planned for a future premium version, which is still in development.

For now, you can manually move your existing media files to your cloud storage and update the necessary post metas for the attachments in your media library.

If you’d like to explore further solutions or need assistance, feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to help!

    Hello @arfoul

    Question #1 and #2:

You can simply disable the plugin, and everything will revert to normal. If you used “Smart Local Cleanup” with the plugin, just install the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin and run it once to regenerate the image sizes.

    Question #3:

Unfortunately, it is not possible right now.

    Hi,

Please check the ADVMO_CLOUDFLARE_R2_DOMAIN in your wp-config.php. It should be the full URL of the custom domain connected to your Cloudflare R2 (or the public URL of your bucket).

For detailed steps, review this guide: Offload WordPress Media Files to Cloudflare R2.

    Hello @caoba

To better assist you, please provide additional details about your setup and the cloud provider.

Based on similar issues reported by other users, I also recommend checking the custom domain added to your wp-config.php file for ADVMO constants. Please ensure it begins with “https” and is correctly pointed to your Cloud Provider bucket.

    Hi @vgibara79,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Have you tested your bucket with another software or plugin to determine if it’s caused by the plugin, your network, or the bucket region?

Based on our experience, the issue might be related to the bucket region compared to your location.

    Hello,

Thank you for using Advanced Media Offloader!

    1. Automatic Offloading: Media files are automatically offloaded to cloud storage when uploaded. The “Bulk Offload” button is only for media uploaded before installing the plugin.

    2. Smart Local Cleanup: The original file is kept on your server where your site hosted as a backup, but WordPress-generated image sizes are deleted. This balances storage efficiency and safety.

    3. Full Cloud Migration: It works seamlessly as long as you manage your cloud storage responsibly—ensure you maintain access and avoid accidental file deletion or compromise.

Let us know if you have more questions—we’re here to help!

    Hi @barrypersonalctonet

Thank you for using Advanced Media Offloader!

    > So is there a way to rerun for offloads that have been processed already to offload them again based on current settings (and remove the ones offloaded originally)? Basically to re-sync the bucket to the site?

Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy way to achieve this. The only solution is to remove the advmo_* post meta entries from your wp_postmeta table in the database for the attachments you want to re-upload to the cloud. You’ll also need to delete those files from the bucket. Once done, you can proceed to re-run the Bulk Offload process.

    > I see the “Smart Local Cleanup” option but am not clear on where the backup is kept, and how restores can be made from it, if that is something that is possible

In Smart Local Cleanup, the main file and all WordPress-generated image sizes will be offloaded to the cloud and served from there. The plugin will then remove all WordPress-generated image sizes from your server, keeping only the main file as a backup on your server.

    Hi @ianchamba

Which version of the plugin are you using?

In version 3.0.0, the cancel button sends a cancel signal to the backend. However, the process will only be fully canceled once the items currently being processed are completed. After that, the cancellation will take effect for the remaining items in the queue. As a result, it may take some time for the process to be completely canceled.

    Hello @yuliandesign

Images are not loading, and the error message says: Imgur is temporarily over capacity. Please try again later.

Regarding the number of offloaded items and errors, it seems the plugin processed 100 items, and all encountered errors (100 offloaded = 100 errors).

Can you check if these media attachments exist on your server disk?

Have you enabled WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG in your wp-config.php file? If you enable these, the plugin will log additional data in the debug.log file, which can help with debugging.

We can take a closer look at your WordPress setup and debug the issue for you at no charge. Feel free to contact us at [email protected].
