We have the same failure messages with version 1.8.5.0 (free), wordpress 6.1.1 and PHP 8.1

Do I understand it right! The dev 1.8.4.0 mentioned above is the new 1.8.5.0? Than this solution does not work for us, we already use 1.8.5.0

Should we switch back to an older version of PHP than 8.1 in the meantime?

“Allow HTML edits” was a Mailpoet 2 feature that has been cancelled with Mailpoet 3. Mailpoet stated “We might revisit this since we see the purpose.” here, three month ago, but hasn’t yet.

It could be helpful when some more users claim to get this feature back!

Full text newsletters really need anchor links for navigation and readability. Please Mailpoet, allow HTML edits, we badly need this!

I think it is directly related. HTML-Code in wordpress content is ignored in total at the moment!

Copy and paste HTML-Code from wordpress content to a textbox in the newsletter designer is a workaround. But the code is parsed and stripped-down. Please implement the allow” own “HTML” option in the newsletter designer, as it was in Mailpoet 2!

and this is my prob too.

The WP-Piwik plugin is in conflict with the Mailpoet 3 Settings.

I disabled WP-Piwik and the settings are shown. The solution of the tread above suggest to rearrange the load order of plugins and load Mailpoet 3 before WP-Piwik. I will migrate first and will try this next.

Dear Guido, that’s it.
I used [vsel event_cat=”category”] in the widget attibute field to show events of only one category. Now I read the doku ?? and use event_cat=”category” without square brackets.
