In reply to: 2.5 gallery: link thumbnail to original image?Perhaps there is an easier solution for me…is there a way to change the max width and height of the medium image? I’m looking around but can’t figure it out.
Thanks!

In reply to: 2.5 gallery: link thumbnail to original image? This solution is unclear – can anyone clarify it?
When you say “install lightbox and lightbox auto,” which plugins are you referring to? I found only one called Lightbox JS v2.0.4. Is that the correct lightbox plugin? What is lightbox auto?
I am hating this thumbnail that clicks over to a medium sized image. Ugh!
Thanks,

In reply to: ERROR on Manage Screen – Warning: preg_match()…Thanks for responding. I disabled all plugins, closed out my browser and restarted, but still saw all of the errors on my manage screen.
From reading other support posts, I am afraid that a plugin has made a change in my htaccess file, so that even if I disable or remove the plugin, the problem will remain. If this happened, what can I do to correct it?
I usually make weekly full backups, but it turns out that I don’t have one for THREE weeks before the error appeared. If I have to revert, I will lose a lot of work! Ugh. I am not familiar enough to know how to manually correct an htaccess file, but is there a way to replace it without screwing up my blog?
Thanks,

In reply to: Trouble with Custom Fields in 2.0i have been having this problem ever since i upgraded to 2.0.4. i see that there is a ticket but no fix? this is what happens to me:
i write a post (not using custom fields), publish the post, and then encloseme1 and pingme1 appear underneath my public post. it is UGLY! i have learned to work around it by going into the post and choosing pingme_1 as a custom field, leaving the text in it blank, and publishing the post again.
what is interesting is that when i initially write a post, encloseme and pingme are not options in the custom fields drop-down list. after the post is written and the fields appear on the published post, when i go back in to edit it, pingme and encloseme are part of the custom field drop-down menu.
so i came around here and have implemented wblogan’s fix. it works just fine. thank you!!!

In reply to: Comments not working, goes to blank page.I just started having a similar issue. After someone leaves a comment, they are sent to marysorens.com/wordpress/, which is actually a directory, since the index file is in a different location.
It had nothing to do with plugins, tried disabling. It appears that those using security software like ZoneAlarm will have to go in and add sites individually where they would like to enable private headers and cookies. That fixed the problem on my site. Of course, I had to enable them at marysorens.com AND at https://www.marysorens.com.
This is very frustrating, because most of my users would not know how to do this. So they will continue to see a directory after they enter a comment. There must be some way to fix this with code?
