Is this a recent change in the plugin functionality? Because the instructions specifically say to download the premium plugin and install it. I have used this free plugin many, many times and you ALWAYS download the premium plugin and install it and ALL the other installations say the key is good for the premium. Another user of the plugin had the same error and said it was resolved when Support generated him a new key.

In reply to: [Advance Pet Care] Slider Settings not workingThank you! That was it. Now why is this not documented anywhere? You must set the page attribute to “custom template” for any theme with a slider. I resorted to the “Smart Slider” Plugin instead which works GREAT. And now that I have played with a number of themes with sliders, I prefer the plugin. It is more customizable than what the themes offer. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Advance Pet Care] Slider Settings not workingI have clicked the show/hide like 10,000 times. And yes, I have clicked publish as well. There are only 3 or 4 steps to do this and I followed the documentation. I re-checked the documentation. Its a test site so there’s almost no plugins to cause an incompatibility. Its not working.
Jason –
It is still not working. I cleared cache and cookies. When I am redirected to paypal, I click on the Check Out as Guest link and nothing happens. It does not take me to a page to enter credit card info. It goes no where. Click, click, click – nothing. The web console has this error:
XML Parsing Error: no root element found
Location: https://www.paypal.com/auth/verifygrcenterprise
Line Number 1, Column 1: verifygrcenterprise:1:1
Cookie “cookie_prefs” has been rejected because it is already expired. Thanks
I am using the merchant ID, not the paypal email. I am also using the PayPal Donation plugin from the same author and that works perfectly on this website.

It still does not work. This is what I find in the console:
XML Parsing Error: no root element found
Location: https://www.paypal.com/auth/verifygrcenterprise
Line Number 1, Column 1: verifygrcenterprise:1:1
Cookie “cookie_prefs” has been rejected because it is already expired. What does this mean/how do I fix it?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Awesome Weather Widget] No longer working sadlyI just found a great alternative to this broken plugin. NOAA Weather – It pulls from the NOAA’s National Weather Service, which feeds alot of these weather sources. You don’t need a Open Weather Maps API Key or token. It even shows a picture of clouds, if its cloudy. If its sunny, it shows a blue sky with a blazing sun. You just look up the code for the location – link provided in widget. Not much for configuration options, but it includes a link for the 5 day forecast at a glance – directly to the NOAA site.

In reply to: [Weather Underground] Wunderground Plugin Can’t Find LocationMe too. It cannot find New York! Kinda useless if it cannot find the biggest city in America.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingNo, it does not autoplay even on a secondary page. Show ma an example where this feature does actually work.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingOk, I can test that. But I want the song to play while they are on the website. It stops as soon as I click to another page. Does your plugin play continuously no matter what page you are on? Is there any parameter to get it to play continuously, no matter what page you are on?

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingIs it a browser limit? If so, why do you advertise it works for all major browsers?

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingI do not have those extra characters in the short code. They appeared in this post ONLY.
There is nothing after 08-La-Grange-mp3.mp3 – no special characters. After the URL of the song, there is autoplay=”true” loops=”true”
Its all correct, its just not working.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingIt plays fine when you manually start it, but it will not auto start or loop.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not working[sc_embed_player fileurl=”https://doo-rags.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/08-La-Grange-mp3.mp3″ autoplay=”true” loops=”true”]
By the way, your documentation does not include double quotes around the autoplay parameter – its a typo.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Autoplay not workingI cannot get the autoplay to work or the looping either. I have the correct syntax:
[sc_embed_player fileurl=”https://notmysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/08-La-Grange-mp3.mp3″ autoplay=”true” loops=”true”]
It looks like its trying to work – play button is on when I hit Preview Changes in WP, but it does not play. I have to hit the pause and play, then it plays. I have tried this on Firefox and Chrome. It only plays once if I hit the play manually. So the looping is not working either. I really want this song to play automatically when the site launches and continue playing as you visit other pages. Please help.
