I’ve got the same problem as carl_in_florida. I upgraded to WP 2.7 and the stats plugin stopped working.I admit that it was my favourite plugin! At first I thought everyone had deserted my blog, but then I looked at Google Analytics and found that people are still visiting.

Can’t anyone give a simple way of fixing the plugin? there must be a lot of people who are missing this fantastic plugin!

Hi Moshu -thanks so much for spending time thinking this through with me. I’ve taken care of the ‘nested directories’. But that hasn’t changed anything.
What did you mean by uploading only the *.php file? If you did that, would it show up or not?

I can’t get over the weird thing that I can see more plugins in the directory than my designer can. And when I upload plugins, they don’t show up in the admin part. When he uploads plugins for me, they do.

I want to integrate Simple: Press Forum but am having difficulties. I’ve uploaded the files to the plugin folder but when I look in the plugins on the dashboard I can’t see it. What am I doing wrong??
