This does not fix imagick, but now it works again.

It uses GD first, added this to functions.php

It is clear by now that the problem exist between plugin and imagemagick. Imagemagick supports many different coding and it is possible that some of them are not working. What command should my web service provider test inside server command line? What php code they can execute, what they can test inside isolated place?

They can test different imagegick versions if they know how exaclty this plugin uses imagemagick. What imagegick versions are supported?

Please help so i can send information to my web service provider or you can send all the needed info also to [email protected]

I write again because it is still the same. Do you have demo page where i can see rainmaker form working?

I also disabled all plugins and custom css, except rainmaker form and height does not change, so it is same size as with all my plugins enabled. So it should have something to do with rainmaker form.

Please help to fix it with internet explorer 11, all other borwsers work well.

I am not the only one that have had thumbnail issues with utubevideo gallery.

Similar and latest thumbnail problems with utubevideo gallery:

I get same error with youtube and vimeo so youtube api key is not an issue in my site.

My only question at the moment is, why other similar plugins can get thumbnails automatically added and utubevideo gallery does not in my current site and server setup?

Because of better score that i have with this plugin i would really like to keep it.

Is it possible that you add manual thumbnail option in future updates that it is possible to add different or same thumbnail pictures also manually?

I have tested that i resize and copy picture to your plugin chache folder like other thumbnail pictures that i have and renamed picture file correctly, same way like other pictures there, just with other youtube id, but i get same error when i try to add video after that. Ho to remove thumnail error from your 1.98 or newer plugin that i could still get thumbnails working if i add thumbnail picture manually with ftp and after that i add video?

I have disabled all plugins and enabled only utubevideo gallery 2.04 and now i have settings visible, but still there is error, similar thumbnail error.

First in settings page, server info cant get php information and it detects that everything is ok with ImageMagick and GD.

My PHP version is PHP 7.3.9 Stable

If i try to add video now i get this Error:
Imagick or GD may be missing or bad YouTube API Key

I have just greated youtube api and error message is the same, with or without api. I still belive something is up with plugin. I love this lightweight plugin, other plugins that i have tested give more weight or sources to the page and give less score if i test page speed.

I hope i still can use your plugin somehow ??

This allows you to create any type of links, from video thumbnail images to basic text links, that can open a video in the lightbox.

For my site this video addon does not open youtube/vimeo links, it opens only basic text links. How to i get it work with standard youtube/vimeo links/thumbnails, not only text links?

Like i understand it, if it caches youtube thumbnails locally then images coming from my site, not from youtube/vimeo. What i would like to see that first time it takes thumbnails automatically from youtube/vimeo and then saves them in my site and no longer it does not need to interact with youtube/vimeo to get those thumbnails again.

wp-youtube-lyte works like that:
The plugin can be configured to cache YouTube thumbnails locally, improving both performance and privacy.

I think your plugin does not work with those two lazyload plugins, because it uses its own code to show youtube/vimeo, if wp video lightbox would also open up with ordinary youtube/vimeo embed links, then it would be possible.

Maybe it is possible to use it with iframe, some lazy load programs work with iframe. Can you show example that i could use inside page/post with iframe?

Hi,

In my youtube example there are visible more options and some of them do not work with wp video lightbox. Like you see, white youtube logo is gone and also is gone watch on youtube with it. I think you know even better what works and what does not.
I just can say some codes are not working, does modestbranding work somehow?

I now have this video addon and it does nothing. It is activated with simple lightbox plugin. Pictres are working with simple lightbox popup. Youtube and vimeo start inside webpage like before i added this video addon. Waiting feedback, Thank you.

Working youtube link without youtube logo

Hi,

Sad to say but i probably move to other plugin, it did take some time but now it is more or less similar to your plugin, at least thumbnail size and text. Like i have mentioned before, thumbnails automatically work with other similar plugins and with your plugin it does not any more. I can not add new videos to the site with your plugin because of the thumbnail error. I still have this work in progress, to get all the youtube links to the new plugin and make some changes on the way if needed. I have been using your plugin long time and i loved it, but it does not work any more for me. I will not go back to other server with older version of php and other older server plugins, all my other wordpress plugins work like they worked before with new server and hosting service provider confirmed that everything works from their side and i am not their one and only client.
