I deactivated and deleted the current version of the MLA, then downloaded, installed and activated the zip file from the article “PHP Warning on media upload”. But it is again v2.97 (20210819) in the description and in the settings.
When I unzip the zip file, the readme file also says Stable tag: 2.97. But I read point 8 in the description:

8. Scroll down to “Media Library Assistant” and look for a date like “20170604” at the start of the Description. That’s how you know you have a Development Version. You can also go to the Settings/Media Library Assistant submenu and see the date stamp in the heading.

I deleted the cache several times. The filter problem when inserting pictures in existing posts (e.g. changing the post picture) still exists.

Now I have understood and recognized the real problem. With me no dropdown arrow appears. But why not?

The problem is solved. In the English version no database tables were created for the gallery. I have briefly deactivated the plugin in the network and then activated it again. As a result, the tables have been created and saving the gallery works. Thanks for your help. I’m happy ??

Thank you for the fast answer. I activated the console and then I added a new gallery. There was no javascript errors. There was no gallery saved and displayed.
Then I set wp_debug to “true”. I send the messages below. But the same messages also appear when I successfully add a gallery in the German version. Can I disable the gallery for the network and install it separately in each language version? So I Can solve the problem? Or then disappear the galleries in the German version?

I have translated additional English words into the German language with the translation plugin “Loco Translate” (it has a .po file created). I did not find the word “confirm” in the .mo file. It is directly in the code of mt-cart.php. This unfortunately means that I have to change it again after each update ;-(.

I’ve also this problem. I’ve deleted all refferers in the api-key once. Now at least the map was displayed – no more “Oops…”. Maybe you can also try it. This makes it possible to rule out an error in the Refferers. After that I tried again refferers. It works now, if I only the domain name enter without “http: //” without slashes and without stars. But no addresses are found in all configurations. The card remains blue. When creating the api-key I’ve activated all 3 libraries. I tried it on the site with additional arguments for the coordinates – all to no avail. The console displays: Google Maps API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-version util.js (210,12). But this warning is supposed to cause no problems.

I use WordPress v.4 with multisite. Yesterday i installed NextCellent Gallery 1.9.23, but I have the same problem. In network settings I don’t select a css-file (it’s emty). And I can’t save the other settings – no save-button.
So I read this thread, but I can’t find in the menus of WordPress where I can manually start the database update.

Please, can you give a detailt description what should I do? I’m a german newbie with poor English skills ??
