LOL … I agree, ignorance is NOT an excuse, and Google is only doing what Google does – providing the tools. How people use them is a whole other story. Thanks for the reply – well thought out and right to the point.

True, but how many people use things like CPanel or similar things that can create automatic backups … and which end up on the same server simply because they don’t know better? Those are the people that will end up having their blogs at risk.

Turns out that it was Brian’s Threaded Comments causing the problem, although I’m not sure why. He’s helping me try to work through it.

I have Brian’s Threaded Comments and Brian’s Latest Comments both running.

No, I was trying to do it from within the editor – add a new link, and you add the URI, a link name and a short description. In 1.0, you could simply add the tags within the Link Name or Description, and it would format that text. Now, it prints them as if they were part of the text.
