For reference (and because I misspelled it in my OP):
If the image doesn’t contain any, the coordinates manually entered have to be in the WGS84 format (which is the common format nowadays anyway).

Does anyone have any idea as to why it’s impossible to disable the lightbox?

Re-checked, you’re right, it no longer works.
Manually uploading and creating a shortcode does work, plus there are mentions of this issue on https://www.atlsoft.de/google-maps-gpx-viewer/

No issues using 3.5 with WP 3.9 so far, but it’s been a while I uploaded a new track… At least the display of the data works for me.

You didn’t mention other browsers, so just to add this bit of information: No problem with FF 28.0…

I agree, I had to update from 3.7.1 to 3.8 manually. It does update my plugins though, I enabled debug emails and the messages arrive every now and then.

This plugin worked like a charm before, but now seems to have issues with the core update functionality.

It’s working prefectly on my 3.7.1 install…

Wanted to ask the same thing.
Now that my WP is on 3.7, what do I have to do?
Do I have to uninstall this plugin because else something will break?
Or, because is has worked well in the past, can I disable WP’s automatic update and keep using this plugin?
