In reply to: Looking for WP supportThanks for the link, cubecolour. I’d actually prefer some kind of service. I don’t really know what kind of pay to offer. I’d know what worked if someone asked for a fee. Also, there don’t seem to be too many jobs up there and I wonder what kind of traffic they have. I might post something there anyway and take a chance.
But in the meantime, I’m going to leave this request as unresolved in the hope that I might get more suggestions.
Thanks,

In reply to: Change title text color in 2011 themeHi, Andrew,
No, I don’t have a custom css plugin and I’m not using a Child Theme. I’m really new at this and don’t know too much.
As I said, I’m using 2011 and really only have 1 page up, a static home page, that I’m experimenting with in order to get a feel for things. REALLY just at the very beginning.
What would you suggest I do? I don’t really know any css, but if there’s a place in the file for me to edit, I guess I could find it and put in the proper hex code for the color.
Well, wait a minute. I do have the WooDojo Custom Code widget, which I’ve never used, but do you know whether this might be something I could use to change the css for the title and tag line, assuming I knew what to enter in there?
Thanks for the help,

In reply to: How to do this in WordPress?kjodle,
Thanks for the response. And extra thanks for the link to your article. Not only was it informative, but the links at the bottom to other WP articles on the site are really valuable. I’ve bookmarked it and expect to consult it a lot.
I guess what I meant by “all sorts of stuff on them” referred to things I see when I open a theme and see a home page and a sample page with things like sidebars, widgets, footers, etc. Sorry I wan’t more specific. I should have been.
I had no clue about child themes and your explanation in the article was an eye-opener. Also, I like your idea about starting out with the default theme. It’s certainly better than buying a lot of different themes before I know what I really need.
I’m sure I’ll be back with other questions.
Thanks again for the help.
